Major renovation of Kaunas kindergarten “Šilinukas”
The use of the building is not changed. A new open-work ramp shall be built on the outside of the building, in the northern part, to provide access for people with disabilities. The existing building has three parts. Two educational parts are two storeys and the third connecting part is one storey.
The building is equipped with 6 pre-school groups. Each group consists of a changing area, children’s sanitary facilities, a playroom, a kitchenette and a sleeping area/room.
The site maintains the existing asphalt-surfaced driveways and pedestrian walkways.
The total area and volume of the site is 1272,3 square metres and 7771,0 cubic metres.
