Reconstruction of a commercial building in Kaunas, Brastos st. 3
A non-residential building, formerly a sewing workshop ‘Vilkas’, is reconstructed in Vilijampolė, Brasta street, Kaunas. The project was carried out to adapt the building to modern retail, preserving the urban location and giving it a new function.

Adaptation to retail activities and architectural solutions
The renovation included a redesign of the premises and a new extension on the ground floor area, designed to make retail activities as convenient as possible. The store is distinguished by its unusual architecture: the entire façade of the building has been renovated and the façade tiles have been chosen instead of the usual decorative plaster, ensuring aesthetic completeness and durability. The work was carried out in compliance with high quality and safety requirements, ensuring that the project was completed on schedule.

Multifunctional adaptation of the building
The 6,200-square-metre building, which houses a new Lidl store on the ground floor, provides commercial space for both work and living. The aim is to respond to the changing needs of the city and the local community and to promote the multifunctional use of the site.

Infrastructure upgrades
The project also included the installation of parking spaces and new entrances to ensure easy management of customer traffic and better access to the site.
