Single-family dwelling in the northern part of the plot
The project consists of a single-storey, two-storey dwelling house with a basement. The volume of the dwelling house shall be visually split into two parts, adapting the building to the scale of the surrounding development. The rounded details of the building are a retrospect of Kaunas modernist architecture.
The house is being built in the northern part of the plot. Access to the plot is planned from the north side of Šviesos Street. The main entrance to the building is to be from the east, next to the garage entrance.
The volume of the two-storey single-family dwelling to be built consists of two identically shaped, slightly offset segments joined in a mirror-like manner. The rounded details of the building are a retrospect of Kaunas modernist architecture. The block on the north side provides a garage on the ground floor. Another area of the ground floor is dedicated to common living spaces. The living room has direct access to the courtyard. On the second floor of the building there are bedrooms.
