Warehouse building in Ramučiai
Baltijos plienas has successfully implemented a project for the construction of a warehouse building in the Karmėlava district of Kaunas, in the village of Ramutsi, Gamybos street. The project was carried out on behalf of UAB ELEKTROS LOGISTIKA, creating a functional, environmentally friendly and logistics-friendly infrastructure solution.
The project involved the construction of a new warehouse building, with architectural, structural and engineering solutions, as well as site improvements. The design of the building was implemented with a strong focus on functionality and ease of use, and the landscaping of the site focused not only on the functionality of the building, but also on the aesthetic appearance and amenity.
The warehouse building has been designed to meet the needs of logistics operations to the maximum extent possible, with rationally planned spaces for logistics processes, staff quarters and transport movements. The building integrates a modern heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system, as well as electrical and plumbing engineering solutions. The site is equipped with parking spaces and landscaped pedestrian walkways in line with the principles of universal design.
One of the most significant aspects of this project is environmental compliance. During the construction works, great care was taken to reduce the negative impact on the environment, and the building is equipped with energy-saving systems to ensure efficient use of resources. This approach reflects the company’s commitment to contributing to the principles of sustainable construction.
Working closely with the design team, led by architect Vytautas Martinonis, Baltijos Plienas smoothly resolved the engineering and organisational issues and ensured the quality and success of the works at all stages.
This project contributes to the development of the logistics sector in Lithuania, creates favourable conditions for business and adds value to the local community.
